Business Confidence Survey

In January 2021, FHRC conducted a first quarter COVID-19 business confidence survey to better understand what our businesses need to help direct our recovery and resiliency efforts. The first quarter survey was administered through Survey Monkey from January 8 - February 5, 2021 and received 127 responses from large and small companies across the Flint Hills Economic Development District.

Child Care Aware of Kansas, in partnership with Kansas Department for Children and Families, is awarding Sustainability Grants – Round 3! These grants aid in continuing operations of child care programs through the COVID-19 pandemic. All Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) licensed child care facilities that demonstrate substantial compliance with KDHE child care licensing are eligible to apply.

Tourism

TASK Grants

 

The Tourism Attraction Sub-grants for Kansas (TASK) program is a one-time opportunity for the enhancement of Kansas attraction assets. The TASK program is administered by the Kansas Tourism Division of the Kansas Department of Commerce. Funding for the TASK program is through the American Rescue Plan U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) Travel, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation state grants. $1.5 Million has been set aside for the TASK program. The TASK program is a 50/50 reimbursable grant.
