Flint Hills Prosper Program
The Flint Hills Regional Council (FHRC), in partnership with Innovate24, is launching the Flint Hills Prosper Program with support from the Patterson Family Foundation. This initiative strengthens rural economies across the Flint Hills by combining entrepreneurial support, flexible financing, and downtown revitalization.
Key components include:
- Entrepreneurial Development – Coaching, technical assistance, workshops, and peer networks to help rural entrepreneurs start and grow businesses.
- Microloan Financing – A regional revolving fund offering $5,000–$15,000 loans to expand access to capital for startups and small businesses.
- Downtown Revitalization – Preparing underutilized properties for reuse and connecting entrepreneurs with spaces to activate rural main streets.
- Regional Collaboration – Aligning local leadership, public-private partners to build long-term prosperity.
Together, these efforts will promote local ownership, job creation, and thriving rural communities across the Flint Hills.
