Serve as the forum for coordinating the region's multimodal transportation planning. Manhattan is the 10th fastest growing metropolitan area. Junction City is the 2nd fastest growing micropolitan area.

Flint Hills Regional Transit Administration - FHRTA

The Manhattan Urbanized Area is eligible to utilize federal funds for transit services. Funds would be used for transit routes starting/ending withing the MUA. Approximately $900,000 per year may be available. Mobility Management coordinates rural transit providers and services.

Economic Development District - EDD

The FHEDD can help you access to Federal Economic Development Administration Funds. It also provides larger marketing effort to draw tourism and jobs to the region and develops coordination of economic development strategies. FHEDD gives you the ability to take advantage of the NBAF and Animal Sciences Corridor.
