FORT RILEY, KS - The Flint Hills Regional Council is proud to announce and welcome Justin Kuzila as the Community Development Planner. He will be heavily involved in supporting communities by providing assistance in economic and community development issues facing local governments.

Prior to joining the Flint Hills Regional Council, Justin received his Master’s in Urban Planning from The University of Kansas. During his time at KU he had the opportunity to intern at the Mid-American Regional Council in Kansas City, as well as several housing nonprofits in the Kansas City Area. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University. Justin worked as a GIS Technician at Burns and McDonnell, and BHC Rhodes.

Gary Stith, FHRC Director, feels that he is a great addition to the organization. “Justin brings a lot of enthusiasm and interest in working with the small communities in our region.”
